Monster Cards are Officially Unlocked

Monster Cards for both Soul for the Ocean Dark and Sword in the Jungle Deep have been unlocked. This means a set of 10 illustrated monsters for both 5e and DCC are now available at the Completionist Backer Level. These cards will be perfect for both combat reference, and for showing the players what they are facing.  This means we'll be making 20 unique cards!

We're already hard at work setting up these new cards. We're excited to make this, and we've been wanting these for SO long. They really will turn the games up to the next level.

Next Stretch Goal - Random Encounter Cards - $850 to Unlock

At our current funding we're now only $850 away from unlocking the Random Encounter Cards which can be used instead of the tables in the book to allow for quick and elegant random encounter selections... and even allow players to draw their own fates. MWAHAHAHAHA!

Stretch Goals Started

We're well on our way, and have already begun work on some of our stretch goals. The custom professions table is coming together nicely, higher level play testing is giving us some great feedback and 5e conversions are underway. 

Potential Player Reward Level

In even more exciting FURTHER news we're working on a potential "Player" level reward just for players of the adventure to back at, which will get them a player pack including a quick introduction of the world, the custom professions, and some other goodies just for players we're still discussing. These packs will also be available as an addon in pdf to any of the pledge levels which receive a PDF of the adventure. These aren't in stone yet, as we need to make sure we can release something worth having as a reward that we are proud of, but we'll keep you all in the loop.

Video Updates

In slightly less exciting news we're about to start giving weekly updates in the form of a quick fireside chat video (which will still include a quick text summary for all of you fine folks who prefer to read your updates.

We're SO CLOSE to our first set of cards, that we've already begun mocking up the cards in preparation. Hoping to have a preview for you all early of what to expect, and also to get some early print proofs to confirm the quality is up to expectations.

Hello again from all of us!

Once again you astound us, and make our goal graphics out of date as we are creating them!

You've unlocked the $1500 stretch goal, and we're already hitting the books and creating custom professions for everyone!

You're well on the way toward the next goal at $2000 which unlocks the 5e compatibility! This means that the book will work for a HUGE number of games without modifications.

As always, tell your friends, families and gaming groups to unlock more features, and find out what the mystery goal is! Only when we reach our $4k stretch goal will we reveal our most secret of goals.

Do you want to make us ugly cry? Because reaching our first goal in less than a day is how you make us ugly cry...

At this rate we expect that by the time we wake up in the morning we'll have reached funding, and there is just so much to DO! We're super excited, and completely blown away from this level of community support.

Seriously, there is no way we can possibly thank you enough. As of right now we're only $51 away from reaching our funding goal, and then we're on our way to making everything even bigger and better!

The next goal is just $300 away for the Custom Level 0 Professions, followed quickly by 5e compatibility conversion at $2000!
